Overview
The Lutron Radio Powr Savr Wireless Hallway Occupancy Sensor signals to other components of Lutron’s TriPak range: automatically switching on a hallway’s lighting when occupied, and turning it off when unoccupied.
This product is vertically mounted and will provide substantial energy savings without oversight. It needs to be combined with at least one Lutron PowPak module and at least one Lutron driver.
Why buy this product?
This product features wireless signalling to controlling modules. This overcomes the need for expensive, and often tricky, wiring.
The Lutron Occupancy Sensor can cleverly respond to people entering and leaving a hallway. The sensor can be teamed with a PowPak Dimming Module to dim lighting when the hallway is unoccupied. It can then be teamed with a daylight sensor to light the hallway to different levels depending on the natural light in the hallway and when someone enters. These are features less advanced systems just can’t cope with.
Application
Occupancy and vacancy sensors are perfect any environment where there is a tendency to forget to switch lights off. They would be particularly useful for a busy office which has people in and out for meetings throughout the day.
