Radisson Blu, Jersey reduce annual energy usage by 19.268 kWh
Safety lighting project meet legal requirement whilst reducing energy bills and carbon footprint
SaveMoneyCutCarbon has liaised with the management at Radisson Blu, Jersey to make sure they can meet their safety lighting obligations while still saving money and cutting carbon.
Our dedicated field services team have worked with the management at Jersey to carefully, and fully, understand the needs of the business in lighting emergency stairwells.
After our consultations we drew up detailed proposals which outlined initial outlay and return-on-investment data. Following on from the proposal process our expert nationwide installation team installed 2D bulkheads to light emergency staircases.
Bulkheads are ideally suited to this environment because of their long life and tough exteriors. Bulkheads are commonly IP65 rated and above. This makes them especially durable for outdoor and industrial settings, making them particularly suitable as emergency lights.
Our installation of LED, replacing old fluorescent 2D bulkheads, stands to save Radisson Blu Jersey 19,268 kWh of energy usage, and 10 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
