Site-wide LED refit reduces hotels energy bills by £13,000 per annum

End-to-end energy efficiency specialists SaveMoneyCutCarbon complete LED refit project to reduce energy bills and cut carbon emissions

The Brief

SaveMoneyCutCarbon is working in partnership with the management at Park Inn, Northampton to help them achieve their environmental targets by cutting consumption and saving them money in the process.

The Solution

Our nationwide installation team has delivered a site-wide LED refit of the hotel and surrounding area.

This followed a detailed proposal, outlined by our dedicated field services team, which included a specification of products, initial financial outlay, and return-on-investment data.

One stand out product we installed were remotely controlled RGB floodlights on the building exterior.

These are controlled from the hotel reception, and allow the management to alter the colour of the light illuminating the hotel.

This is an innovative solution as it allows the hotel to be lit to suit specific needs; for example, the company colours of corporate customers visiting the hotel.

Elsewhere, our team have specified and installed LED downlights in bedroom corridors, LED panels in meeting rooms, and LED tubes in kitchen areas.

The Savings

SaveMoneyCutCarbon’s partnership with Park Inn, Northampton stands to save the hotel over £13,000 per year.

That’s a yearly saving of 110,542 kWh and 59 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions from lighting alone.
