Overview

This 4 pack of beeswax food wraps comes in a random selection of lovely prints, handmade in the UK using end-of-line fabric offcuts and locally sourced beeswax.

These resuable food wraps are a fantastic sustainable solution to keep your food fresh, completely replacing single use clingfilm and sandwich bags in your home.

Receiving these beautiful wraps in the post is like a lucky dip – you never know which fabrics you’ll get them in!

This 4 pack contains a variety of sizes:

  • 1 x small wrap (15cm x 15cm) - perfect for pieces of fruit and vegetables
  • 1 x medium wrap (20cm x 20cm) - perfect for cheese or sandwiches
  • 1 x large wrap (33cm x 35cm) - perfect for covering casserole dishes of leftovers

Each beeswax wrap is handmade in the UK and uses:

  • the finest beeswax from local UK beekeepers
  • locally sourced natural pine resin
  • OEKO-TEX organic cotton fabric
  • organic coconut oil

Please note: The fabrics may differ from those featured in the product images.

Each printed wrap is made using OEKO-TEX certified fabric from UK suppliers that source end-of-line materials from the fashion industry - essentially recycling waste from the industry.

By sourcing supplies from the UK, BEE Zero Waste reduces their carbon footprint, reduces risk from falsely certified GOTS fabrics and removes the price hurdle that prevents shoppers ditching plastic for beeswax wraps by keeping their wraps as affordable as possible.

How to care for your beeswax wraps

To wash your beeswax wraps, use soap in cold water and hang to dry – hot water will degrade the wax on your wrap. It is recommended that you refresh your wraps every few months either in an electric oven or using an iron. Full instructions can be found in the Media & Downloads section.

Beeswax wraps are not suitable for using in the microwave or oven. Ensure that all food is cold before you use these wraps, as hot food will cause the wax to melt.

Please note these wraps are flammable so keep away from naked flames and do not refresh in a gas oven.
