How Does Radbot work?
Radbot detects when a room is occupied by measuring changes in light – heating the room when you’re there and lowering the temperature when you’re not. Radbot learns how long it takes to heat a room so it’s warm when you get home. If your schedule changes, Radbot quickly learns this and updates the heating pattern.

Why is Radbot different to current control systems?
Radbot is different from standard thermostatic radiator valves (TRV’s) and smart thermostats, because it adjusts the heat output based on how you use the room.

To explain a little bit more - TRV’s control the heat output in each room but the temperature will remain the same all of the time. To achieve the savings, you will see with Radbot, you would need to remember to turn the dial up 1-2 hours before you enter each room and turn it back down every time you leave a room. Radbot automates this process saving you time and money by ensuring you are not heating empty rooms.

How do you control Radbot?
With Radbot you easily “set and forget”- Radbot is installed to each radiator and the temperature is set with the temperature dial, so you don't have to fiddle with the house thermostat or an app on your smartphone.

Radbot controls the heat output from the individual radiator, it doesn’t interact with your boiler so will not affect any of the timers or schedules you’ve set. Radbot can also be used alongside a smart thermostat for further energy savings.
