These biodegradable natural silk dental floss reels are designed to refill the glass bottle that comes with the single pack.
Refill your Non Plastic Beach dental floss glass bottle dispenser with these biodegradable natural silk dental floss reels.
The twin-pack is packaged in eco-friendly cardboard and protected in a fully compostable corn starch bag so everything inside and including the box won’t harm the planet after use.
This fully biodegradable dental floss is the planet-friendly alternative to standard polluting nylon versions. It’s made from silk, and naturally breaks down so it’s compostable, while at the same is as strong and effective as the traditional plastic floss.
Each reel of floss is 30 metres in length and coated in minty candella wax which is totally plant based. It’s the best alternative to standard varieties that are manufactured from nylon or Teflon and packaged most often in polypropylene, and while this type of casing can sometimes be recycled, it’s only as lower-grade material.
Dental floss is a big worry when it reaches our seas as it can tangle and wrap around things. It’s best not to flush floss in general but if you dispose of this silk dental floss correctly, it will break down completely in time.
