The Vernis basin mixer collection run at just 5 litres per minute and is part of hansgrohe’s EcoSmart range. EcoSmart means water flow is controlled by a flow restrictor whilst an aerator inside the tap mixes in air with water, this technology reduces water consumption by up to 60% without any compromise on water pressure. Using less water means you are also heating less and replacing your current tap with an EcoSmart version will help you save on your energy bills.

The Vernis basin mixers have the added bonus of CoolStart technology, where only cold water is delivered when the tap handle is in the central position. Hot water will only start to flow when the lever is rotated to the left, meaning your boiler won’t fire up unnecessarily.
