Application

Fixed Ratio (EMP)
The Fixed Ratio (EMP) is the entry-level power optimiser that gives excellent value for money and is designed for companies with a stable incoming supply voltage.

We carry out a detailed survey of your site to identify energy-saving opportunities and design the most effective solution featuring a range of fixed levels of voltage reduction.

Each of these tailored options can be selected when commissioning or in the future as needed.

Fixed Ratio with “BrownOut” (EMPi)
Some premises have intermittent voltage dips when demand is at a peak and the EMPi solution is designed to efficiently monitor the incoming supply voltage.

The EMPi bespoke solution will manage optimisation to maintain predetermined power levels for maximum efficiency, inhibiting the optimisation when needed and reinstating it as voltage levels rise again.

The EMPi solution is excellent value for money, with a range of manually adjustable reduction settings.

Stage Voltage Tracking (EMPs)
EMPs is the flexible solution for sites with fluctuating incoming power. The staged voltage tracking solution, as well as featuring the “BrownOut” function, will ensure a fixed output to appliances as an additional safeguard against dips and spikes that could cause problems with equipment. The bespoke unit will also deliver higher energy savings overall.

EMPs intelligently selects the most effective voltage reduction level from five predetermined levels identified during the technical survey. The unit will then maintain output to within -0V / +4V of the output value selected.

True Bypass
This option ensures that in the unlikely event of a fault with our equipment, it can be swiftly isolated by throwing a simple switch, operated even by non-technical staff, to ensure that there is no downtime from power disruption.

Metering
We offer a full range of metering options from simple visual displays through to multifunction solutions and report generation, with data accessible from any PC via the internet.

LV distribution
Our units can be manufactured with built-in LV distribution, including DB’s and/or switched fused isolators to answer any need for a locally specific solution where slight changes to the distribution system will maximise savings by minimising the number of voltage optimisers required.

Active Harmonic Filtration
Power supply in premises can be affected by harmonic distortion created by some types of equipment, with a knock-on effect on other appliances in the building.

While Eco-Max Power solutions reduce the distortion that can cause power losses, interference and premature equipment failures, building in an active filtration unit can significantly reduce problems, increasing equipment efficiency and reliability.

Active Power Factor Correction
This facility offers the best way of balancing in the most optimum way your power is consumed, perfectly matching the power drawn and the power needed by a piece of equipment for a particular task – known as “useful power”. This is above and beyond the efficiencies gained from all Eco-Max Power units.
