Club Member of the month: Robin

Meet Robin, our latest Home Club Member of the Month. Robin lives on their own and enjoys long walks, cycles and exploring the UK (and abroad, in “normal” times!). After one too many beach litter picks, they joined Home Club to start making sustainable changes to protect the environment they spend so much time in.

Because of their lifestyle, food waste is a tricky thing to manage – supermarkets don’t tend to make it easy to shop for one. Because of this, they’ve worked hard to reduce their waste in lots of clever ways, to help reduce their carbon footprint.

What made you want to live more sustainably?

That was the starting point – then I got the bug!

Which sustainable swap are you most proud of?

At the moment I’ve been loving my kitchen reusables – Stasher bags, and Non Plastic Beach’s BOLL***KS to cling film.

Why do you love it so much?

They’ve helped me save so much food waste. They’re so versatile and mean that I can reuse all sorts of containers, I can freeze meal prep, fruit and vegetables and they’re great on the go. I love them, and would really recommend them to anyone, whether they live alone or not.
