Environmental Involvement for Young People

The Young People’s Trust for the Environment (YPTE) is a charity that aims to inspire young people to learn more about the environment and the need for sustainability.

It provides educational and information materials giving balanced views on environmental issues to take into account the realities of the modern world and to enable young people to make informed decisions on the kind of world they want to live in for the future.

YPTE provide a range of free services, accessible via their website, including a huge library of fact sheets, news articles, videos and lesson plans produced specifically for use by children and teachers. to find out more, visit their website.

We are delighted that SaveMoneyCutCarbon has selected YPTE as their Foundation’s chosen charity. Whilst we approach making a difference to the planet in very different ways, there is so much synergy in this partnership. I genuinely believe that it will produce fantastic results, with YPTE helping young people learn about reducing their impacts on the planet and SaveMoneyCutCarbon supplying people and businesses with the technology and knowledge they need to reduce the environmental impacts of the places they live and work every day.
