Why Beco Pets?
Established in 2009, Beco Pets design and manufacture unique pet products whilst using the most sustainable processes in order to minimise environmental impacts.
Their mission is one that we love here at SaveMoneyCutCarbon. It’s to care for the planet as much as you do for your pets, helping to preserve the UK landscapes that your pets love to explore.
Beco Pets founder, George, said: “We’ve come a long way, but there’s lots more we want to achieve. With environmental pressures greater than ever and the prospect of more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050, as humans and pet owners, we need to act now – before it’s too late.”
Sustainability
Beco Pets take sustainability seriously. They ensure that they do everything they can do protect our climate, from sourcing as locally as possible to reduce carbon emissions from transport, all the way through to only using natural and compostable materials in their products.
For example their pet bowls are made from bamboo, which when mixed with compostable corn starch and rice husk, are super strong just like plastic but are fully degradable.
