School £4,000 annual savings with LED lighting featured in Education Magazine
A full LED lighting retrofit at Eastwood Community School, saving £4,000 a year, is featured in Education Magazine.
The report focuses on how the SaveMoneyCutCarbon team, all fully DBS checked, fully managed the project from survey to installation, to replace the ageing light fittings with energy-saving LEDs.
As well as saving money through reduced energy bills, the new LED lighting has improved the light quality while reducing CO2 emissions.
A full lighting design was required by the district council, which the team delivered with the support of trusted LED suppliers, BG Luceco.
Suzanne Carter, head teacher commended the SaveMoneyCutCarbon team in the report for their positive attitude and great workmanship, completing the project on time and within budget.
